As you are aware, John Park, Ian Francis and I, Joseph Hansell, were appointed Receivers and Managers of the Settlers Group on 28 August 2019.

I refer to my previous communication(s) in relation to the coronavirus (COVID-19).

TRAVEL AND SELF QUARANTINE

As you may be aware Australia government now requiring a 14 day quarantine for all inbound arrivals on international flights. In light of this, we now require all residents who have travelled internationally and arrived into Australia from 16 March 2020 to self-quarantine. During this period residents are NOT PERMITTED to visit other residents within the village or use ANY common facilities within the Village.

Please notify your village manager if you are intending of travelling in the next 4-6 weeks.

Family and friends of resident have travelled internationally and arrived into Australia from 16 March 2020 are not permitted to visit residents during the mandated 14 day quarantine period.

Additionally, we respectfully request all residents who have recently travelled internationally and arrived into Australia from 3 March 2020 to observe a 14 days quarantine period. We request families and friends have arrived into Australia from international travel from 3 March 2020 to not attend the village for a period of 14 days.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

As outlined in my previous communications, we continue to encourage residents to engage in social distancing. Please minimise the use of all common areas and all social gatherings are suspended until further notice. We are continually reviewing guideline released by the Australian Government and will update our policies accordingly.

IF YOU DO NOT CHOOSE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES YOU MAY BE PUTTING YOURSELF AND OTHERS AT RISK.

PERSONAL HYGIENE

It is important all resident practice good hand and sneeze/cough hygiene as it is the best defence against most viruses. You should:

  • wash your hands frequently with soap and water, before and after eating, after going to the toilet and blowing/wiping your nose; and
  • cover your cough and sneeze (preferably into your elbow), dispose of tissues, use alcohol-based hand sanitiser and if unwell avoid contact with others (touching, kissing and hugging).

Should you have any concern or question in relation to the above please speak to your village manager.

Yours faithfully

The Settlers Group

Joseph Hansell
